The Community Archives keeps documentary materials of all kinds relating to Belleville and Hastings County, Ontario, and makes them available for research.
Our archives was established in 2010 as a three-way partnership between:
Each partner has substantial collections of archival materials that help us understand the history of our communities. At the Community Archives, these materials are safely stored in environmentally-controlled conditions and made available for use by researchers. The Community Archives is jointly funded by the County of Hastings and the City of Belleville, and is administered as part of the Community Services Department of the City of Belleville.
You can keep up to date with our activities through our monthly newsletter. Many thousands of photographs from the Community Archives are now available on Flickr, with a separate Flickr collection for the Deseronto Archives. Digitized textual records are available through our online catalogue, Discover, and through the Internet Archive.

Or you might prefer to loan materials to the Archives for digitization, so that they can be shared with others through the Archives' collection of photographs on the Flickr website.
